Bachelor's Thesis LaTeX Template
Writing a final-degree thesis means managing a long document with a cover, an abstract, a table of contents, numbered chapters, figures, tables, citations and appendices. This free LaTeX template for a bachelor's thesis gives you that structure already built: A4 book class at 12 pt, a configurable cover page, abstract, acknowledgements, lists of figures, tables and acronyms, five chapters in separate files and a bibliography. Open it in Texmate, replace the sample text with your own and see the PDF update as you write.

What's included
- Cover page with fields for university, school, degree, title, author, supervisors and date
- Abstract with keywords, and acknowledgements
- Table of contents and lists of figures, tables and acronyms
- Chapters in separate files: introduction, state of the art, development, results and conclusions
- Working examples of equations, tables, TikZ figures, code listings, footnotes and cross-references
- Bibliography in BibTeX (references.bib) and an appendix
How to customize it
Fill in the university, degree, title, author, supervisors and date in the macros at the top of main.tex and the cover updates itself. Upload your logo and add it in frontmatter/cover.tex. Each chapter lives in its own file under chapters/, so you can rename, add or remove chapters with \include. The gray paragraphs explain what to write in each part: replace the definition of \guide in main.tex with an empty one to hide them all. Add your sources to references.bib and cite them with \cite.
